I Love my Mum. (and my dad)
On Mother's Day. Sis and i decided to gave both daddy & mummy a treat. As i was preparing to save up for my traveling expences so obviously we couldnt afford to treat mummy to eat Foie Gras but its the efforts counts. we headed to Clarke Quay > The Central > Manhattan Fish market for lunch. We had lunch instead of dinner cause mum had to go over to celebrate with ahma during dinner time.
we ordered the above, and i simply love the Platter for 2. we love the prawn dressing, it taste %&#@&$ i dunno how to describe. i need more to figure out wat it was. and the fried oyster is really good, as i doesnt like the taste to be too heavy, this is just nice for me. but my dad thinks tt the deep fried mathod kills the taste of the oyster. All i can say is own preference.
*they were having a promoting for Mother's day, all mother can recieve a complimentary ice-cream.

i still remember, my first time there was with Alicia and allester/xiao hui.
which is 1yr+ back. At tt time, i still remember it was a small stall and now "Dessert Hut" rents another shop infront of its stall to accomodate more customers.
The almond paste is still as yummy, but i seems to taste alil bit burn in the peanut "An Po Ling" - gultinous riceball or maybe it taste just like tt. Anyway, i just choose this to the other 1 selling chinese dessert which is nearer to the overhead bridge connected to e people park complex cause tt is slightly ex and the paste didnt include "An Po Ling" and i simply love to eat "An Po Ling".

ouch.. even though i don't play at the Parco Bugis Junction Fountain, i feel worried for those kids to play at the fountain as i usually saw when i went over to bugis after school. It might be dangerous to play at.

A shopping mall, Tian Yi Square, is a famous mall with musical fountain. 李梅, a 19 year-old Uni student, had a very different experience. She went with some friends to enjoy the day and see the musical water fountain show.
李梅 and her friends were playing in the water fountain area . All of a sudden, while 李梅 was struck by a powerful burst of water that threw her into the air.
After the fall, 李梅 experienced extreme stomach pains and was bleeding badly. She was immediately taken to the hospital to undergo medical care.
The doctor said that the fountains water pressure had torn her vagina and damaged her intestines.
During the following 7 months, Yang received 3 surgeries to repair the damage, which left her some pretty bad scars.
Yang is suing the owners of the fountain for around $24,500 in damages.

On Monday, a 7.9 magnitude quake in China southwest Sichuan province had now taken more than 14 000 lives. The toll of missing and probably dead is likely to balloon. When one met danger, running for life is our first intuition. In this natural disaster, 15classes from a school were having lesson at tt time when e quake strike. A group of teacher (15 of them) evacuate their students efficiently through all exits, most students were unhurt, but 4 teachers from the back unfortunately lost their life. In the sudden stike of quake, the teachers forgot about themself and their families, their first priority is to evacuatie their students safely.

(X-Japan) Hide Tenth Aniversary
haven been blogging these few days, but i wanted to post this so i force myself to blog right now. im slow, i know, you need not comment.
On May 2nd, 1998, Hideto Matsumoto (hide) passed away... News of his death was crushing and unbearable. 10years already, and theres still alot of fans around still reminiscence the incident.

Tens of thousands of young fans shut down central Tokyo today in an extraordinary outpouring of grief for a rock guitarist who hanged himself One fan followed him in suicide, and two tried. Helicopters buzzed over the Buddhist temple where as many as 50 000 lined up outside services for Hideto 'hide' Matsumoto. TV networks went live as ambulances carted away dozens overcome by emotion and the 82-degree (28c) heat.
Matsumoto killed himself on Saturday, leaving nothing to explain why. His group (X-JAPAN, one of Japan's most popular) broke up in September, Matsumoto had a solo tour planned for the summer. 'I can't believe he's dead',said Mayumi Meguro, a 21 years old part-time worker who took today off for the services. She stood in line with throngs of people in their teens and 20s, many in black, many with the brightly dyed hair that was a trademark of X-JAPAN. They waited to sign their names and leave flowers.Initially unprepared for the turnout, workers at Honganji Temple set up a first-aid room after about 12 000 fans visited the temple for Matsumoto's wake Wednesday.
By late today, 26 people had been hospitalized. Police sent helicopters, boats and about 100 officers to the temple. Another 170 private security guards were deployed to keep the fans from disrupting traffic. Alarmed by the response, Matsumoto's old band mates have urged mourning fans to stay calm. They have reason to be fearful.A 14 years old girl was declared dead today after hanging herself Monday night at her home in Tokyo, using a towel tied around her neck, the same method Matsumoto used. Another girl jumped from a bridge Monday night butsurvived, and on Wednesday a 19 years old woman who attended the wake was taken to the emergency room after she cut her wrist with a paper knife. A monk at the temple, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the cuts were superficial. If precedent holds, more attempts could follow.
hide (1964 - 1998)
Having been drinking heavily on the night of May 1st, hide returned to his apartment with his brother and female friend (reports vary from her being his girlfriend to being just a friend). hide was promptly helped into bed by this female and, upon her return to check him, she found him in the bathroom, a towel tied into a noose around his neck. He was unconscious and was immediately rushed to hospital, but was dead upon arrival. 8:52am, Saturday May 2nd, 1998
one of Japan's greatest musicians was lost.Police investigation showed no signs of a break-in and the case was closed as being 'suicide', though family members later forced them to change it to 'accident'.There are many theories regarding his death -- from murder and practising for a stage stunt, to autoerotic asphyxiation and suicide due to depression. hide's friends and relatives claim they are entirely sure it was an accident. Many consider the single 'Pink Spider' (released a few days after hide's death) to be a suicide note, as the lyrics tell the story of a 'Spider' wanting 'wings' so he can be free.hide's funeral at Tsukiji Hongan-ji on May 7th brought fans from far and wide, many skipping work to stand among the giant crowds outside the temple. The next few months (and even years) were difficult for fans, friends and relatives alike.
