anyway, STD aint tt 'sexually transmitted diseases', what i meant was Shop Till Drop.
On 17th July (Thursday),
the 3 ( YJ , Jasleen n i ) of us departed from Changi Airport T1. We took Airasia (budget Air) to Bangkok. It was my first time taking budget airline. We took the morning flight 10.55am. After 2 damn years of waiting after my Taipei Trip, i finally able to go Overseas again.
When its time to board the plane, i got e excited feel liao, but when im on board, i was like - ah! so small, so cramp. but duh! u pay for the budget price, obviously, u get to take the budget kind of plane. Didn't care much too, cos at most will be spending 2 hours in the plane. but i kind of realise that the Air stewardess give more attention to Angmoh, as the whole trip no one come to us.
The whole flying trip was about 1.45hrs. The whole process was boring as no in-flight entertainment, the speakers were soft -so cant really here what the stewardess trying to say (maybe is due to air pressured, my ears were blocked.)
Reached Bangkok International Airport.
my luggauge was in good condition. Not much scratches or dented.
we headed out and ignored those unlicences or official taxis and to the official booth for METERED TAXIS. ok, look carefully, i emphasise on the word metered taxis.
The lady on the booth wrote down our hotel name and address on the piece of paper and passed to one of the taxi driver who r in the queue.
We happily board the Bright hot Pink cab and happily load the luggauge to the cab with the help of the driver.
When the taxi drove off. He told us in a very broken english on something 700baht (=sgd$29). Den i smell fishy.. I tot we were on the METERED TAXIS queue? y he quote us 700baht?
cheesepie.. we on a Pirate Cab. As we just reached BBK and not fimiliar with the place, afraid he will throw us somewhere and drove off with luggauge and many bad senarios we just let it off and told ourself there no way a second chances of any cab/taxi to cheat us.
The driver still have the cheek to intro other hotels to us and psycho us not to go to the hotel we booked. Please, we rejected directly. Once we reached the hotel, he still say its not good and offered to drive off to the hotel he introduce, i immediately signal one of the hotel staff and he came to our help. =)
We reached safely. Checked in at our hotel ( Reflections Rooms in Bangkok ). A Nice Boutique Hotel. Facilities were adequate. Very nice, clean comfy rooms. All rooms were in different designs and designed by different local Artists. The hotel lobby had 2 computers for guests to check emails, msn, surf the net and i use tt to do some blogging too. We change 2 rooms as we wanna try different rooms during our 7days in bbk.
Both room were Nice and comfy, but the cons are the bathrooms of two rooms had no doors. What they have were either bathroom curtains half covered doors which i dunno how to explain.

We spend more days in the first room. from thurs till sunday.
After we unload most of our stuff, we head down to Siam area to start our first sight seeing, more like shopping mall seeing. ha .
Went to Siam Paragon, the very huge upmarket mall with many high end shops as well as a southeast asia biggest aquarium. The Cinema there is also a very huge 1 comparing to vivo golden village, i guess got 4 times the size of vivo's gv.
Other then Siam Paragon, we went Siam Center, Siam Discovery as well as the Famous MBK which i've been to 10years ago.
As we are heading to Kio cheapo items, we din really buy from the malls except i got myself the coolest headphone which i will blog seperately.

after all the shopping in the Siam District, we left at around 9plus and took the BTS (mrt) back to Sephan Khwai station. Somewhere near the station, theres a BigC, which is a super mart like our giant or carrefour. We bought some daily needs, shampoo, conditioner, cup noodles etc. After Big C, we walked back to our Hotel Reflection, its a 10mins walk back. On the way back theres quite a number of roadside stalls and we both some nice meat balls and Fried Chicken Rice for Supper, And that's our second meal of the day.
we set off to Bangkok without having any breakfast. and we didnt have any food in the plane until 4pm? we had our first meal at the KFC in Big C. We won't worried about getting hungry at night as the road down our hotel have lotsa of roadside stalls which open till damn late and 7-11 is also nearby.

So far been here for5days, going back on weds evening. Kind of use to e living here.
i love the road side stores.
i love the BTS.
i love the snacks.
i love the cheap tees.
i love the Thai songs as usual.
i love CentralWorld weekend flee market.
i love the thais chatting.
but somehow i think that things here are not like what the tourists guide book says, can bargain as much as 50%..

IN BANGKOK [preview]
im in BANGKOK!! Yesterday was hectic upon arriving at the Airport but everything went kind of smoothly after arriving at the hotel.
we reached the hotel at near 2pm (Bangkok gmt). The room were nice but the BATHROOM is.....
Theres no fully covered door so when one used will definately feel awful. so we brainstorm abit and decided to get something to seperate the bathroom and the bedroom.
i will blog more tonight. guess the wifi will not works for YJ lappy, so will have to come down tonight to the lobby to use again.. pictures/photos will upload tonight.
off to Grand Palace and Vimanmek Mansion for now.

Within another 12hours im flying..
yea. its like finally after so many months of planning and discussing, 3 of us get to go Bangkok at last.
Byrite we are worrying about funds, now its more or less sufficient. And im proud of myself again cos once again i earn myself a holiday trip. (the previous one is to Taipei)
what trouble we met,
YJ having some hard time finding funds. (but settled)
Jasleen mum dont allow. but after some kind lies, its also settled.
now what i worried is my luggage is wee bit small. im afraid not enough to put my hoots in.
And my funds might not enough to grab almost 20 soveniers for my friends out there.
This time round is my 2nd time to Bangkok, the first time was 10 yrs back. I had not much memory of tt the route and such, just a bits n patches of memories. What i rmbed was i visited lots of temples, Dreamworld, MBK, Nightmarkets and had noodles at the streets. Had done quite a bit of research of the Place of Interested in and out of Bangkok, so this coming Seven days (yea, 7 days), when dose who knows tt we're gg for 7days normally say, Bangkok 3days can finish liao lo... Y 7days?
But we ourself wanna really relax and enjoy this trip without rushing here and there, as we work so hard for jus mere-ly 7days.
And Later i definately gonna have
A&W for Lunch (i missed the curly fries and waffles wif icecream )
and
BASKIN ROBBINS for Dessert. ( many say nice, i mus try )
OH. Yj brought laptop along.
